Abe is doing Crossfit so everyday they post something for him to do the next day (he finds out at 8PM the night before what he has to do the next day).  This particular day he had to run a 10K!!  Isaac ran for a bit with him.  By the end Abe was running and Isaac was right beside him and said "Look Dad I'm walking" making it known that he was able to walk as fast as Abe was running! HA!  Abe did well.  He is not a runner and didn't stop to walk any.  His time was 1hr 11 min.

33 Mile Bike Ride!

This was not part of crossfit.  Abe was invited by some friends from church to ride bikes after the church picnic.  One flat tire, One sore butt, 3 hours and 33 miles later he was back!  He was assured that after a couple more 30 milers he wouldn't know he had a butt! HaHa! 

Backyard Camp Out

We attempted this but by the time we got it all set up and settled in the tent the rain started coming.  We didn't know how bad it was going to get (we thought some were supposed to be severe and we didn't put the rain cover over the tent).  So we ended up back inside after 30 minutes! It was fun while it lasted. :) We will try again soon.

Thats a little bit of what we have been doing on our summer break.  Hopefully a lot more summer fun to come!
