We went back to
Vandy for Isaac's check-up several weeks ago and it was no surprise to us what the news was. Back in glasses. I
don't remember the numbers and technical terms they used but basically in 6 months Isaac's eyes had gotten 10x worse! CRAZY! They
weren't as bad as before he had his surgery but the doctor said they would eventually get that way again. So he prescribed him glasses and goes back in 3 months (April). He wanted to see if they would help to avoid another surgery. For those who
don't know Isaac had a lazy eye (actually both) that would occasionally go in. He wore glasses for 6 months to see if that would help correct the problem. It
didn't so he had eye surgery (on muscles of both eyes). There was not a 100% guarantee that it would last forever. It
didn't. It has been a year this spring since the surgery. So now we are back in glasses. To be honest I
don't have much hope that they will work and I can see another surgery for our Isaac's eyes in the future. Really you know what that says? My lack of trust in God's healing power. Whats even worse is that I
haven't even begun praying for the glasses to work and that we can avoid another surgery. So will you begin praying with me?
