First Soccer game/practice

Isaac is playing soccer this fall and today was his first game/practice. At this age they are really just learning the fundamentals of soccer so they will only play against their own team. It was pretty cute to see a bunch of 3 year olds out there learning to kick the ball and what they are supposed to be doing. Oh did I mention that I am assistant coach and and a friend of mine, whose son is also on Isaac's team, is the coach?! Yep! AND neither of us know anything about soccer, so we are learning from google. :) Apparently the league didn't have enough parents volunteer to coach and so it was either that or our kids not get to play.

Isaac pushed his socks down because he thought his shin guards needed to show! Ha!

Before we left the house and before we put his socks on. He loves those shin guards. :)




All the kids did really well. It was hot so they were ready to end early and they had to be there an hour early for pictures so by time it was our "game" time they were already worn out. Poor kiddos!
PS One of the parents has a cousin that plays on a high school team and wants to help teach the kids. SHEW! I am thankful for that.
